According to The Conference Board of Canada, Canada is one of the largest per capita greenhouse gas emitters. This fact is says that Canada is not meeting Paris agreement, despite Canadian self-praise for environmental movements.

The abrupt cancellation of the Cap and Trade agreement without any good alternative, makes one think that current Ontario government does not see environment as important as economy.

As Cap and Trade Cancellation Act includes a requirement to prepare a climate change plan, is would be better to produce a new plan as soon as possible, so the people will see that new plan is better and more efficient than Cap and Trade.
