In order to make a Greenbelt meaningful and effective, it must include private lands that are susceptible to development. I would also like to see the province act on previous recommendations by the public to include protection for the Paris Galt Moraine, Carruthers Creek and Duffins Creek, among others. The protection of critical sources of drinking water must be a top priority.
The plan to build Highway 413 must be scrapped as it will pave over some Greenbelt land.
