I fully support the proposed ultra-low overnight rate plan for consumers as it will heavily encourage load shifting to off-peak hours when generation is usually in excess or very low-cost from base-load nuclear generation sources in Ontario. With the adoption of EVs this will only further encourage their adoption as paybacks will be even more attractive than internal combustion engine cars.
