The Typhon Group Ltd. is the owner of the lands at 233 Four Valley Drive and 1040-1080 Edgeley Boulevard in the City of Vaughan and fully supports York Region’s New Official Plan designations for these lands of Urban Area - Community Area. On May 27, 2020, Vaughan City Council approved the owner’s request for an employment conversion of these lands and on October 22, 2020, as part of the Region of York’s MCR, Regional Council approved the request. The owner has applied for preconsultation with the City of Vaughan to discuss local planning applications to permit a high density mixed residential/commercial development on these lands which will provide a significant number of new dwelling units and office/retail floor area. We request that Notice of the Ministry’s Decision on York Region’s new Official Plan be provided to:
