Mayor Iain Lovatt illegally moved and voted on this request at York Region.
Mayor Lovatt is presently in a lawsuit in which he is personally named involving the Bethesda lands in question.
He did not declare a pecunicary interest and never disclosed this lawsuit.
This motion should be rejected on the basis that Iain Lovatt illegally moved and voted on this motion regarding the lands he is specifically requesting be removed for development.
