Conservation authorities are important in making sure that our short term goals do not create long-term problems like ecological collapse. I believe that it's important to have conservation considerations when determining if land should be developed taking into. Account the natural resources that would be removed from the environment or the animals, plants and interconnected ecology that would be impacted. We share this earth and we rely upon the web of life that supports it. I would not support any changes to the conservation authorise that does not reflect the needs of the local ecology. Furthermore, greenspace is incredibly important for the humans around it and to fail to recognize that is to fail to look ahead and see what faces us if we continue to divest our environment of all important resources and ecology.
