Ignoring that Ford…

Ignoring that Ford backtracked on a promise, ignoring that this sets precedents for other developments, this is major back step in protection of Ontario’s environment, its species, its watershed, its water quality. We should be adding more land WITHOUT removing any. We should be encouraging affordable housing, increased density on brownfields, not paving over critical virgin habitats and causing yet more species decline, habitat loss, worse air pollution, water issues and climate change. We should be leading the world not caving to local developer demands. This is a major step backward which will have ramifications for years to come.. This is not what the people want.
