I am very concerned about…

I am very concerned about the removal of the greenbelt. As an environmental scientist and someone who struggles with housing affordability, I simply cannot agree that the only way to improve the housing crisis is to destroy environmental and agricultural assets. I would much rather see Ontario working to make rural areas more desirable to live thereby pushing people outside the GTA, along with an increase in density, plus finding ways to incentivize new immigrants to move outside Toronto. As someone who lives in downtown Toronto, it is already more than an hour drive to get out of the city and into nature. Decimating the greenbelt will hinder my access to nature even more.
