We need to preserve and expand the Greenbelt in Ontario, beyond the ecological benefits, it serves to support Ontarians in connecting with accessible green space that would otherwise not exist! I urge the Ministry to please retain and expand the Greenbelt! Instead of pushing into existing green spaces, the provincial government can push municipalities to change by-laws to support increased density and mixed used neighbourhoods to create thriving communities and affordable housing. Do better, please! Present and future Ontarians are relying on this government to do their best for ALL peoples, not just those who can afford it!
