Excellent decision. Cars are made differently today with incremental features for emissions to the point that lights come on and signal if a gas cap is loose.
Focus on the larger emissions and corresponding vehicles that are constantly on the road. Through the light vehicle personal car emissions requirement, the government is focusing resources and costs on the small targets at a great expense to government coffers. Apply resources to the large commercial vehicles which are constantly on the road, sometimes in dubious repair and occasionally posing a safety issue along with environmental emissions.
