I am extremely concerned about the proposed changes to the green belt.
The housing affordability report (https://files.ontario.ca/mmah-housing-affordability-task-force-report-e…) clearly outlines that land is not the issue in housing affordability.
Additionally former mayor McCallion is a disastrous choice to chair the council, Mississauga is a case study in how sprawl sets up a community to fail.
This government should be focused on densifying existing neighbourhoods (particularly the missing middle), and on building infrastructure like transit that will enable the density.
These proposed changes will only benefit developers, and will cost Ontarians more in the long run.
