I am not in favour of the cancellation of the Cap and Trade at all!!! The money from the polluters was actually helping people afford energy efficient retrofits, driving the economy, and reducing greenhouse gases. The savings you are projecting is totally irrelevant in comparison with what's happening on our planet! This is total lack of leadership and comprehension of the issue. I am in favour of paying more for gas, etc., because I will ultimately consume less, which is less pollution for our planet. Big polluters will look for more environmentally friendly ways for producing their goods if the Cap and Trade remains, which will in turn, stimulate the economy even more. This is a no brainer!
