I wish to express my view that the continued support towards recovery of the Massassauga rattlesnake population in Southern Ontario is incredibly important. Reptiles and amphibians across Ontario are declining and we have a responsibility as environmental stewards to do whatever we can to slow or reverse that decline. As a long-time citizen of Southern Ontario, and someone who has spent a lot of time volunteering with ERCA and the Essex County Field Naturalists, I would request that Ontario continue its efforts to protect wildlife.
