The United Kingdom can fit 60 million people on an Island, and Tokyo can fit the entire population of Canada into one city, but Doug Ford doesn't think we can fit people into Ontario without destroying its greenery.
There's no good reason to tear down the greenbelt when we already have enough land. The real problem is that we just aren't using that land efficiently. We need to start building denser housing, and build up, not out.
There's no point in destroying the environment when we could build more housing with the land we already have.
