I do not agree with the removal or redesignation of greenbelt land, period. Yes the Paris Moraine should be added, but that should not be an excuse to demolish other areas. The proposed changes wouldn't even put a dent in the amount of housing that these documents guestimate that we're going to need, nor do they promise any kind of affordability for those whom actually will need the housing. They also don't promise to make the most of the space. For all we know big developers will come in and build a small number of large, expensive houses to line their pockets. The greenbelt was created to be permanent. PERMANENT.
Not to mention how this proposal completely overlooks the wildlife currently residing in these areas. I don't suppose the developers will round up all of the many many species living in these areas and relocate them to the Paris Moraine, so they will suffer, and many will die.
