Stop eating up green space…

Stop eating up green space before using the land within the urban boundaries, Hamilton has so many abandoned buildings that could be turned into high density housing instead of the cookie cutter housing in the suburbs. This expansion is only prioritizing the need for housing, and forgetting to implement or upgrade infrastructure that can support these initiatives. Developers are coming in and cashing in on land deals, leaving people who live there to suffer for the next 10+ years with higher property taxes to build infrastructure that developers should contribute to. Instead why not use the parts of the city that have been left alone due to vacancy or history and improve upon them.
