I would like to express my concern and opposition to the cancellation of the cap and trade with no clear path forward for Ontario's climate change policy future. The province has been a global leader with its closure of its coal plants, the growth of the renewable energy industry, and by generating much-needed revenue through arguably one of the tamest forms of emission regulation. Until the current government has a concrete policy to propose, it is irresponsible and short-sighted to cancel our biggest effort so far to curb greenhouse gas emissions.

As an Ontarian, I voice my support for strong and aggressive climate change action.
