The idea of building homes faster does not address the tens of thousands of private homes being bought by investment companies buying up said homes and forcing low to middle income families to rent at extremely high rates.
You have to limit the number of homes to companies and restrict ownership to individuals and regulate rent.
You have to invest in low income housing and make it easier for low to middle and become people buying houses.
In thirty years minimum wage has tripled and houses have gone up by ten times.
It isn’t sustainable.
