Stay out of the Greenbelt.
No to housing there, no to highways there, leave nature and agriculture alone.
Fixing the housing crisis and gridlock does not have to be at the expense of our natural spaces and resources.
Repurposing existing subdivisions and areas as well as investing in mass transit (trains) from city centres will solve our problems in more sustainable ways.
As well, investigations of due diligence into leadership making decisions and connections to housing and infrastructure developers must be done alongside. Speculation of politicians "being in the pocket" of corporations is a prevalent narritive and transparency in this process will only help with public approval.
