I am fully in favour of the cancellation of cap and trade: a wealth redistribution scheme cheaply shrouded as an environmental protection measure.

I’ve tried many times to get “climate change” fear mongers to explain to me how, if “industrialization” is the problem... paying higher taxes in order to buy credits from less industrialized nations... so they too can turn around and industrialize, saves the planet.

They’ve been unable to answer that. They won’t ever be able to answer that, because it doesn’t make sense.
Ontario does very well in conducting business environmentally ethically. Canada does very well in conducting business environmentally ethically. The sliver of global emissions that Canada produces yearly speaks to this.
Higher taxes do not, can not, and will not control the weather, now or ever!
