This amendment to the "protected" greenbelt feels like, rather than progressing as a society we are backtracking. This is 2022, there are brilliant minds and also evil ones that attempt to benefit from destruction of what was supposed to be PROTECTED land. I say brilliant minds because there must be ways to utilize the empty office spaces for our housing crisis while attempting to be mindful of one of the greatest issues we face in our future, climate change. I really don't know how much clearer we need to be about that. This would be such a loss for our children's futures, for my future, for the wildlife in those areas. Whoever is reading this, be mindful of what destruction will come from this. I understand the benefits but there are so much more cons than pros to this.
