I believe that the green belt should remain untouched. Not only is it an important environmental land mass in Ontario, it’s a precious source of fresh water and thriving ecosystem of natural wildlife. This is a natural wonder in our ever chaotic world. If this were to pass we would hurtle ourselves closer to a world akin to WALL-E. If you “must” develop, do it in the downtown core, where people live and are currently growing hungry, becoming sicker and losing hope. Don’t take way our last beautiful landscape that has kept our air clean and our water ways fresh. This is but another dangerous power gingery man, trying to scrape together every last coin before he’s ultimately booted out in 4 years. This is just the beginning and it’s not right.

Please leave it as it is, so I can show my children the drive I took to their great grandparents. Slowly weaving through high rocks and dense forest. Peeking through the trees and seeing farms and crystal clear water sparkling in the distance. Not big grey buildings and black pavement! I’m saddened as it is at our inability to change our government. But damn, leave the land alone.
