Greenbelt space should not be built upon. There are far more sustainable options to solve housing crisis. Tiny homes, apartments, stop selling family homes to corporations and those who are not Canadian citizens but foreign investors. Our green space should be cherished and protect for our future generations. Wanting to amended the greenbelt shows lack of thought, creativity and environmental concern from our government. When our world is facing climate change we should be doing all we can to conserve the land which helps to clean the air we breathe, not to mention the wild animals that are already endangered and disappearing. Again lack of thought, concern, creativity and environmental care.
