I am OPPOSED to all of it.
Reason 1:
The wildlife is already taking a beating by new housing developments that they have no where to go.
Reason 2:
The wildlife have now become a part of neighborhoods, which I don’t mind sharing but a fair amount of residents (stupid residents) treat them like pets and feed them. This in turn causes these animals to become fearless to humans. Not good for either wildlife or humans
Reason 3:
The infrastructure in these areas cannot withstand the already growing areas with zero plans to change it.
Reason 4:
The RTA and supporting legislation needs to be more loosy goosy and give landlords more rights. Cap rents to no more that $100-$200 more than the cost of the mortgage in total for duplexes or main floor and basement rental properties. It’s out of hand and a huge culprit to causing housing issues.
