I believe that the greenbelt is an essential part of our community and it would be a devastation to both the current and future generations to lose this land for recreational enjoyment and educational exploration of nature.
Furthermore, the development of key water filtration pathways, flood planes, and animal habitats will equally impact the quality of life for both humans and animals in the area. Focus should be on the upward intensification of these areas, and not the development of single family homes within the existing greenspaces (which in these areas, tend to be egregiously large).
