I feel very strongly that this is not the correct way to address the housing issue in Ontario. Our greenbelt should be preserved for future generations, and I do not see how developing the Greenbelt will solve our housing issues in the long term. Our greenbelt provides us with so many benefits, and developing it for some houses will cause further problems for our society. Our greenbelt is our pride and joy. The only way that i can foresee this helping with our housing problems, is by making Ontario such a grey and boring place to live that everyone will leave once the Greenbelt is developed.
