I believe strongly we need to quickly help people save energy and create jobs in the huge clean economy.
Ontario should make polluters pay for their emissions and return the revenues to the pockets of Ontarians so they can lower their carbon footprint or invest them in clean energy. I want legally binding emissions targets in line with our obligations to the Paris Climate Agreement. We need to be 100% powered by clean energy by 2050. This means ending subsidies and handouts for fossil fuel companies and redirecting this money to clean energy solutions.
