I wasn't notified that our climate and environmental policy was about to be scrapped during or after the election. No consultation, no debate, no new programs outlined, no scientific input, no public representation, and worst of all, no democratic vote on the matter. Yes, I now live in Ford Nation but 60% of us did not vote for the Progressive ( why keep that word ) Conservative Party and we are still Canadians and we deserve a clean and healthy future, especially for our children, and grandchildren. Please leave Cap & Trade alone. If you have any conscience and empathy for the citizens of this great province , then do the right thing. This isn't a matter of ideology or politics, it's peoples lives and future that is at stake. You cannot bury your heads in the sand to save a few dollars and make our economy obsolete by not embracing the technological advances of clean energy. We could be world leaders in this field but instead your government is choosing to do the opposite. You will some day die and eventually be forgotten, but your decisions today can benefit the environment forever.
