Thanks for this opportunity to comment on Bill 4. I am strongly opposed to this Bill which would eliminate the price on carbon. Anyone who cares at all about the lives that will be lived by our children and grandchildren would be shocked and dismayed by such a bill which will allow ever more carbon to be released into the atmosphere thus accelerating the terrible climate change phenomena which are already upon us. It will, at the same time deprive the province of funds that were earmarked for programs that would encourage energy-saving and the move to green energy. Such a Bill is shortsighted, selfish and ignorant.
