I want Ontario to put a price on pollution, making polluters pay for their emissions and returning the revenues to the pockets of Ontarians so they can lower their carbon footprint. We need a consistent revenue stream to provide subsidies to people for things like smart thermostats, energy efficient appliances and windows and more affordable electric vehicles. With these subsidies, people will be able to lower their cost of living by preventing the use of fossil fuel in the first place, instead of lowering the price of fuel.
