Hello We should not make changes to the Greenbelt lands. It needs to stay as it is because it would disrupt water pathways, and possibly contaminate downstream water if the head of the waterway is taken and built upon.
This could also be seen as a precedent to make more changes and open the door to more degradation of the protected lands in future.
Also, some of the land being proposed to swap into the Greenbelt is already protected land so it doesn’t count as an increase in protected land.
Really we should use the land which is already at our disposal to build upon smartly and not make unnecessary land grabs at protected nature depriving future generations of people and animals of important wild space.
