Hacking off pieces of the Greenbelt is profoundly short-sighted and illogical in light of the climate crisis, broken supply chains and looming food scarcity. We need protected farmland in place, ready when folks wake up to reality. We need to build communities up, not out. Suburbs are tax drains while population centres are tax positive. It's a no brainer. Our leaders need to actually lead. Now. It's a crisis.

Stop cozying up to vested land developers. Do the right thing. Protect our Greenbelt.
