This proposal, though convenient to developers, is scary and ignorant. Wetlands are critical to water filtration, flood retention, erosion control, carbon storage, nutrient cycling and groundwater recharge. Wetlands are NOT wastelands. I wholeheartedly plead you to not let this pass.
