I am opposed to this…

I am opposed to this proposal as it is a blatant attempt to further erode the agricultural and natural components of the original plan and of the existing agricultural preserve in the city of Pickering. Furthermore, the city of Pickering, Durham Region and The Province have failed to adequately provide or plan to provide the necessary infrastructure to support the existing plan, let alone one of increased density.

I believe this proposal and its intent are incredibly short sited and are a reflection of misplaced priorities that are not aligned with the best interests of current and future generations.
