Considering the current and projected status of endangered species and habitats in Canada, decreasing the protection of wetlands is that last thing that should be on the agenda of our current governmebr. We should be leaders towards a greener future. To say these plans are a good idea would be a lie to yourselves and to the people of Canada. More homes on an inhabitantable planet is useless. Making policy changes such as these, while believing that it will help the environment and species at risk, is pure greenwashing. Consider the science, believe historical trends, and the known impacts of urban development when reviewing this proposed policy. You have the chance to do better, so DO IT.
