Absolutely not !
There’s a reason we made it a protected area to begin with and that hasn’t changed nor has the idea of immigration and needing more homes. There is lots of space that will allow for more homes to be built or even converting the now empty structures in downtown Toronto into condo/ apartments vs the empty business dwellings they now are due to Covid. Any homes built on those lands can almost certainly be flooded eventually or would be insane pricing and still not helping the housing crisis. Give your heads a shake. And if you want people to jump on your bandwagon stop having millionaires buy “useless” land in the protected area right before you plan on buying them out to build….. looks a little corrupt… oh right it is.
