Ontario and every single of us needs action on climate change.
This repeal should not happen unless there is a clear and better proposal in place. Repealing without an alternative plan is dangerous and undermine any attempt to carve global warming.
Decision should be fact based, I don't believe a repeal of any regulation should be repealed without proof that the regulation is dysfunctional or not sustainable. There are no evidence that the current regulation is ineffective.
I am asking to maintain the current regulation until a better plan is in place.
I am asking Ontario to develop regulation that will limit carbon emission and global warming according to the Paris agreement targets and to the latest IPCC report (oct. 2018) targeting an increase below 1.5°C:

Regulation should be legally binding to ensure we meet at least the Paris agreement target.
Ontario should stop providing subsidies to industries that are demonstratively not switching to renewable energy/materials (such as fossil fuel, non recyclable packaging etc).
I am asking Ontario to define a target date for sun-setting any fossil fuel economy and switching to sustainable energy sources.
