Hello.

This proposal is terrible. Doug Ford promised not to touch the Greenbelt. I incorrectly assumed that meant he would continue to not touch the Greenbelt in the future. Land must not be removed from the Greenbelt, for any reason or purpose. Please let me know what else I can do to fight this. I've been emailing my representatives as well as Doug Ford himself. I've gone to protests. I talk about it with friends, family and strangers. Does anything I do matter? A people that prioritize protect wild green spaces is the only group of people who can successfully navigate the climate crisis (where I measure success as minimizing death). I know Doug Ford does not measure success through minimizing death (take for example his lax and piecemeal policies throughout the entire pandemic, that continue to this day when it comes to masks in indoor/school settings). What has to happen before there is meaningful change in the right direction (the direction that promotes biodiversity and protects the earth)?
