Developers will consistently charge market rate to home buyers. These savings will simply go to the developers not the homebuyers. Higher taxes will inevitably result and less services as municipalities struggle to compensate for this revenue lose. THIS IS PROFOUNDLY UNJUST AND OBVIOUS FAVORITISM TO DEVELOPERS ONCE AGAIN.
WITH INCREASED DENSEFICATION COMES THE NEED FOR MORE PARKLANDS NOT LESS. MORE PARKLANDS THAT ARE EASILY ACCESSABLE LESS DEPENDANT ON CARS. THE MORE ENVIRONMEN4DLLY FRIENDLY WAY IS TO MAKE HOMEOWNERS LESS CAR DEPENDANT, RESULTING IN MORE COST SAVING/CONVENIENT TO THE HOMEOWNER....and more environmentally friendly, healthier communities longterm.
REDUCTION IN DEV FEES WILL HOBBLE MUNICIPALITIES IN THEIR CAPACITY TO MAINTAIN AND PROVIDE SERVICES TO RESIDENTS. THE COST OF DEVELOPMENT WILL BE MOVED FROM THE DEVELOPERS TO THE TAXPAYORS. THIS WILL RESULT IN HIGHER TAXES, LESS SERVICES. THERE IS NOTHING IN THIS URBAN EXPANTION SPRAWL AGENDA THAT FAIRLY ADDRESSES THE AFFORDAB,LE HOUSING CRISIS. IT IS PROFONDLY UNJUST!!!!
