Re-zoning and/or…

Re-zoning and/or compromising Greenbelt lands, or any other properties zoned by virtue of the appropriate expertise, is far from the best solution to the housing issues we are facing. The underlying cause, chronic overpopulation, is a very complex and global challenge - beyond the purview of any single governing body (or country, for that matter).

We have some semblance of control over two of the general parameters here - population growth (locally and in this country as a whole), and how we choose to accommodate our populace.

Grow up, not out.
And build what our population wants and is able to sustain.
Think smaller, wiser...
