I strongly disagree with allowing development of Ontario’s Greenbelt. Such irreversible development will be detrimental to nature and food security, and will increase traffic, congestion and pollution in these environmentally important areas. Housing needs to be concentrated in city and town centres, and increases in local density will be better for Ontario now and in the long run.
As a physician and father I am concerned that Doug Ford’s legacy will include this destructive and irreversible tarnish on the natural environment of our province.
