I live in Uxbridge part of the Oak Ridges Moraine where the waters flow south to Lake Ontario or to the north Lake Simcoe. This is a very fragile area.
All protected lands, especially wet lands are critical to the entire environment of Ontario.
Yes Ontario needs density not more sprawl.
I question the Conservative Party’s and the Premier's involvement with the developers’ who will benefit monetarily from this irresponsible land grab.
Perhaps forensic accountants ought to be hired to follow the money.
I’m 83 years old. Canada has irresponsibly invaded this rich land with no thoughts of future generations well-being or respected the indigenous peoples sense of renewal. We ought to have worked cooperatively with them.
I’m ashamed of our practices.
We now have the opportunity to engage all parties especially the well educated young people to amend some of our crimes.
