We are in a climate crisis…

We are in a climate crisis.
This government promised the Greenbelt would be left untouched.
This government has no mandate to develop the Greenbelt.
This action is undemocratic.
This government needs to explain to the people of Ontario how and why developers and key donors to the Ontario Progressive Conservative party secured large parcels of Greenbelt land, in some cases at extremely high interest rates on borrowed funds, shortly in advance of this undemocratic move by the Province of Ontario.
This land is critical to prevent flooding in surrounding areas. It is critical habitat. It is critical farmland. The David Suzuki Foundation, the OFA, and countless other environmental organizations oppose development of this Greenbelt land
I vehemently oppose this proposed development lands within the Greenbelt.
