Building on the Greenbelt…

Building on the Greenbelt breaks a promise! There is land already designated for housing and that’s the land that should be used. We need the wetlands to help manage water and to continue to perform its other environmental functions such as helping to clean the air of co2. Putting housing on high quality land destroys it forever and we need that land for food. Yes we need to house people but we also need to feed them. The only one who benefits from building on the Greenbelt is Doug Ford and his developer friends. It’s a bad idea for the rest of us. Don’t do it!!
