I wish to express my extreme objection to this proposal in its entirety! The Greenbelt was established as a commitment to the people of Ontario to protect from any development specific lands across the province. The Premier promised to respect this commitment during the last election and the one preceding it. We expect this promise to be kept. Our housing needs will be met as they always have been without the need to used protected lands. It may be that these lands are not owned by the Premier’s supporters but that shouldn’t matter. The optics of this initiative give us a picture of total corruption in the Premier’s office and Cabinet . The stench is incredible. It’s a wonder the Premier can even look us in the eye when promoting this lie. Stop this stupidity now!
