Developing the greenbelt is a very bad plan. We should be increasing density within the city, where existing infrastructure and services exist. We should not creating more sprawl and commuters. We should be building along existing public transport lines in order to reduce not increase commuting in private vehicles. We need to do all that we can to preserve our farmland, the moraine and the environment and be building communities to reduce climate change, not contribute to it.

I am ok with Southlake building an addition to the hospital on this land as the services are needed in the area but not another subdivision. This kind of sprawl is harmful, antiquated and not in touch with today's reality.
