Dear Premier Doug Ford, I am only a young girl who is aware of the harm that Bill 23 possesses. First of all, I believe that the solution for housing is not to take protected land to build on. Instead, I believe that limiting people who have multiple houses to only 1 or 2 homes, or at least renting out their 2+ homes, is much better, Another way to maximize our land is to make our buildings taller, instead of building space consuming suburban plots. Townhomes are one example of beneficial housing I have noted that you have decided to let people split their property to build a rental or another plot to sell, without the regulations. In a way it is easier and beneficial for some. However, without the regulations, problems can occur when management is not done well. Such as flooding. Another thing I would like to touch on is that though you are giving 9,500 acres, it really doesn't make up for the land lost. Please reconsider your bill, it will benefit many people in many ways.
