I find the current government’s decision to end cap and trade deplorable. It is one of the only remaining programs we have in place to control carbon emissions and reduce our impact on climate change. I would rather pay higher prices for fuel and other carbon based products, and I’d rather see other consumers and industries motivated to reduce their fossil fuel consumption as well. Please do not repeal the Cap and Trade program without an alternative greenhouse gas reduction plan in place. We will regret it in the future.
