the negative impacts of the decision to open up the Greenbelt to development, undermines tenant protections and affordable housing supply and will not fix the housing crisis. It will destroy thousands of acres of farmland and wetlands containing precarious ecosystems already under threat due to climate change.
The PC government continually lets Ontario down and does so to make a few people very wealthy.
Bill 23 would result in the increase of property taxes for municipalities whose citizens are already struggling. How does this help our housing crisis?
