I oppose plans to remove lands from the Greenbelt. This is an action being taken by a government that is not respecting or representing the residents of Ontario. Premier Ford you promised to not touch the Greenbelt. There is enough land without touching the Greenbelt, building on un-serviced Greenbelt land will not solve the unaffordable housing problem.
The government should be protecting the existing Greenbelt and adding to it, not deleting from it. All the actions that have been taken by the "Ford" government are underhanded. I would understand these actions if we lived in a dictatorship such as Russia, but this is Ontario. Our governments are to represent it's citizens.
Mr. Ford, Mr. Clark, do what is right and repeal Bill 23 and leave the Green Belt Lands alone. Allow for proper discussion to take place to develop the right solution for this province and it's residents not just the "developers".
